Oh, ye who slumber and sleep, Arise! Awaken for Now is the Time!

Look up! Look to the sky and see the shining ships of Light, flashing, signaling,
beams of Light, streaming forth between Heaven and Earth--
Prepare ye now for the coming birth.

IF
If nothing comes from nothing, and nothing that is never was--
If ALL THAT IS, has always been,
If all creation was a thought, and then became manifested,
It still exists.
Then Someone had to remember,
Else whence came the magic world of art and music--
And why the tears of longing that flood eyes from overflowing hearts,
When seeing a painting, hearing a melody, or enjoying other art forms?
Yes! I remember! I remember a land of two suns, crystal pyramids, domed cities.
I remember skies of purest turquoise with seas to match. And I remember an enchanted
garden with pastel ponies and white unicorns.
I have seen Starships flashing in the night sky, signaling each other, and I have seen the
Light Beings who pilot them.
Know you not that imagination is the gateway, the bridge on the path between this dimension and
Other worlds? Yet scoffers laugh and call us dreamers.

Holy Spirit, guide me within,
Lead me to portals where the Universe begins,
Onto a path Angels have trod--
A shining path leading to God.
Show me the Way with clarity,
Help me understand True Reality,
Let me know with no further doubt,
Just what my mission here is about.
I have so many memories, so many dreams,
I feel I'm part of the Universe's schemes--

What have you done to me--
Opened me wide, made me vulnerable deep inside,
Brought me out of hiding.
I was safe and secure in my loneliness--
Now you, with just one kiss, have given me a glimpse
Of what I've been missing.
You speak of love, and I see it in your smile, in your eyes;
But I've heard so many lines, so many lies,
I'm afraid to listen.
Holding my hand, you lead me into a land so magical, so new,
I want to cry at the wonder of you;
The wild beauty of the sea and sky, I see in your eyes--
And I am lost--my proud, vaunted freedom, won at such cost,
Suddenly means nothing to me.

WAS IT A DREAM?
It seemed so real--
You appeared in my room in a golden Light,
And though it was night,
My room was bright with the glow of our Love.
You gently, softly touched my face,
And wordlessly, I entered your embrace,
Blending and merging completely,
In flaming ecstasy,
Rejoined as One.
Oh, my Beloved Twin,
Was this a sin?
For you have ruined me for any other,
For no man on Earth will ever satisfy me,
My Beloved Brother--My Lover from another Star!
You awakened my memories of Home, and now there are times
I feel so alone--
Yet I know there are others like me,
Awakening in Dreams with memories of Star Lovers

From far distant galaxies
Beyond the realms of dreams,
I come to you--

To share the task,

He told me long ago that if I would follow Him, He would show me the Way and my purpose--and so I did--and the Way became Light, and the Path shone bright with Possibility.
And I grew in stature and in might and in fame, though in humble circumstances, I lived unknown to multitudes.
But then I came to the Valley of Despair, and Doubt and Fear overcame me, as I was tossed about by the arguments of men, and the rigid customs of society. In anguish, my soul cried, and my Master lifted me again, up into the Realms of Light and Knowledge, above the crowds who would destroy me.
He showed me the Way once again, and strengthened me, and gently put me back into the midst of the tumult, that I might serve the cause of Love and Light. And I grew some more, quickened by the Spirit. Once again the forces of Darkness surrounded me, and the depraved mentality of mass confusion raged against me--and I would falter, were it not for the Angels who guard me with their swords of Light.
I cry out in passionate spirit, power fills my soul, as my Master comes to me again and heals me, strengthens me, teaches me. The scars are removed, Light enters my eyes, Love pours into my heart, and I know as I am known--I AM.
In quiet rapture, I gaze on the face of my Beloved, and in peace, I dwell in the Realm of Light.
Yet again, I go out to face the foes of Man, and serve in the Cause of Truth.
I will be tempted, I will be tried and tested. I will suffer and be sad, as I take on the guise of mortality--I will even die. But in the end, I will triumph as a Child of Light, and even Death shall be but a rebirth.
My Master calls me yet again--and I will follow Him. Lo--unto the close of the Ages, the end of Time, and beyond all the galaxies--I will follow Him.
And in the midst of the tumult and clamor of the world's confusion, I have but to speak two words--
I AM--and Peace calms my troubled soul, and Light reigns Supreme in my Kingdom, Forever.

SEARCH FOR ANOTHER
In never-ending circles,
My mind recycles
All that I have seen, heard, or remembered,
And keeps dying embers from flickering out,
Though ashes of doubt
Try to smother.
Through blinding tears,
I've studied for years
Seeking the truth of Another,
And yet, well I knew
That I'd never find Another
By using my mind.
I must open the door,
By hoping for more
Than Philosophy ever promised--
And though it be sin,
I must enter in
To my Kingdom,
My Soul's lonely core.
No one is with me on this sojourn,
And I must wait for my return--
If I conquer, I won't be alone,
For I will have conquered Another.
Deepening twilight soon becomes day,
But then I discover I've lost my way--
Choked by a jungle of human desires,
I must fight through
To renew Divine Fires.
Thoroughly tried,
My lonely heart cries
For pleasure, though ever so fleeting--
But valiant, resisting
All temptations of trysting,
My soul stands triumphantly bleeding!
I wait by a stream, as though in a dream,
Drinking eternity's wisdom--
Not from a book--this knowledge I took
Straight from the fount of reality.
In moments past, of love that could not last,
I saw glimpses of Another,
And now as I ponder, in awe-struck wonder,
I see--
The Other I'm seeking is Me!
Religion and Faith,
Philosophy safe,
Could not be the key--
Past vales of sin,
Triumphantly bringing back Me--
The Great I AM,
The Soul of Man,
Reigns ever Gloriously!

THE ENDLESS QUEST
My Search continues ever onward, bursting Sunward,
Through the mists of legends long-forgotten.
Ever Questing,
Never resting,
Truth I seek
That I may live freed of my panic of unknowing.
Tossing, turning,
Fever burning,
Never still--
I dream in nightmare rage upon life's endless wave,
Pushed on by my will,
My maniac will to know!
It might be nice to be simple-minded and not worry beyond tomorrow--
It sounds so easy to have unquestioning faith in religious or other authority--
Not tossed on the seas of indecision
Or dashed on the rocks of reason--
Just believing something because of tradition
And never concerned about history's sedition.
It might be safer to agree with society's great apostasy,
But then I'd only be guilty of my own hypocrisy.
How can I know the Truth from someone else's Book--
It's to Myself that I must look,
For Truth believes in Me!

AN ILLUSTRATION
This blog has a few poems about Twin Flames, Star Beings and Star Lovers, and Soul Merging. So this is a good place to add an illustration. This image is actually a painting a Facebook friend did for me a few years ago. It represents my Twin and me, our Spiritual Connection, and our connection to the stars, specifically, Sirius.
AN INTRODUCTION: WHEN IT ALL BEGAN
When I moved into my new apartment recently, and was unpacking, I ran across a book of poetry I wrote back in the 80s. I put it on a shelf and didn't think of it until now. Tonight I read through it, and decided it is time to get it posted online, as a prequel to A Heartbeat Away. It is about my First Awakening, and my Spiritual Quest, which happened in the latter part of the 70's and lasted through the mid 90's, but especially during the 80's.
I wrote a lot about the Inner Twin, and the Soul Merge, long before I met my Twin online in 2010, and so much makes more sense now. and I cried as I read it, feeling the love I felt then, knowing even then, we are connected and always have been. These are poems he never has read before. In all the poems I have written since meeting him, he has recognized us. I wonder if he will recognize us when he reads this new blog.
It's time NOW for me to do this work before me. It's part of my mission to share our story as hope and inspiration for other Twins, Soul Mates, and Lovers to awaken to Divine Love, and not fear to follow their hearts.
