MEDITATION: CHILD OF THE UNIVERSE

Oh, Spirit of Light and Knowledge,
Holy Spirit who dwells within,
Quicken me, enlighten me, and
Awaken me!

Guide me and direct me,
Safely through this day, and
Show me the Way!

Let me see the Truth in people I meet,
the work I do, and the things I see,
Let me understand the truth in my thoughts,
and in the books I read.

Let me realize that I am the Truth ,
And as I think, I shall be,
And even now, I am.

Let me walk a while with each of the Masters,
that I may learn from them,
And owe no allegiance to anyone,
But revere them all equally,
As My teachers and friends.

Let me be free of all traditions,
That my soul may soar
Rapturously through sea and sky,
Equally at home with men and creatures of all kinds.

Let me fear no one, nor be ashamed to speak
With angels or saints, prophets or priests.

Let me know I AM

A Child of the Universe.
